Last week I had an issue with one of the wires being pulled loose from the tacks holding it in place ( the window cleaner had caught the wire as he went through the garage) I contacted Chris and he came out a few days later to tack the wire back in place for no charge. There’s a man who truly looks after his customers!

Chris came and undertook a repair and service of our up and over garage door that had become stuck open due to a cable becoming detached. Prompt callback, quick appointment, keep updated and turned up on time and completed the repair efficiently and at a very reasonable price. Wow, how refreshing to meet a business that’s polite and go out of the way to help a potential customer! I had already contacted a well known local business who wanted to charge a silly price for visiting (3 miles away?) and order and replace the problem without even seeing the problem I had. Later I found EA Garage doors and noticed they only had 5 star reviews which didn’t seem right, but after Chris’s visit I can see why they get so many, no hard sell he fixed the problem within minutes and offered to fix something else that he noticed... all the while on the way to another job (I only rang the evening before!). If that’s customer service the products can only be brilliant too. Thank you Chris.

Gave E.A. Garage Doors a call as I had some strange noises coming from my Henderson door which were concerning me. I was booked in for Wednesday for an inspection and possible service. Chris phoned me on the morning of the appointment to say he was on his way which was a good sign. On inspection I was told that the door was in remarkably good condition for the age and after replacing a small cotter pin with some hammer taps Chris told me it was basically fine and the only thing I would notice if he serviced the door would be a lighter wallet. It is nice to see such honesty. I was not charged a penny for his time. Give these guys a try.

East Anglia Garage Doors provide an excellent service. Knowledgable, passionate, efficient and reasonable. I had an issue with the door remotes not working. These were tested and reprogrammed within 30mins after the fobs locking me out. It’s all about the know how, and Chris and his team certainly have that. I’ve also had East Anglia doors out last year when the garage door stopped working, only to realise the separate power to the garage had tripped. Silly me, hadn’t realised, Chris didn’t take the fun out of me thankfully and not to waste the trip gave the doors a service. Great work Chris, thanks once again.

Key fob programing
I telephoned Chris at 18.00 on the Thursday before Easter weekend and received a callback within the hour and was really impressed with the speedy response given the time of day/date. Chris talked me through how to re-program my remote key fob which had lost its code since the battery went flat. When asked how much I owed for his time/advice Chris explained there was no charge as the call took less than 5 minutes and as such he felt a charge was not required, so felt compelled to post my review of my experience with Chris of EA Garage Doors.
Many thanks for your time and guidance during my hour of need, real 5 star service.

Chris ordered the garage door and arranged a date for work to commence, ( which arrived quickly, according to other fitters would take a long time if We didn’t use their company) they arrived on time, cleared the site on completion and was extremely polite.
Anyone thinking about getting a new garage door we would strongly recommend these guys, you won’t be disappointed.

He replaced both wires and the conical runners which the wires go onto. It was a lot of work having to release the large spring too. The conical runners had started to wear down and the grooves were no longer deep but shallow and in obvious need of replacement too. Chris was well organised and had all the tools and parts and his van was all tidy. He did a great job and I was pleased he was able to come so soon as I couldn’t use the garage door. I initially looked at EAGD because of the number and quality of their reviews. Making an appointment for a visit was easy. They turned up on time and quickly identified the problem with my garage door. Because of the nature of the fault they were unwilling to attempt a repair, and recommended a new door. With some firms this might have come across as a try-on, seeking to get a bigger piece of work. In this case though, given the clear explanation of the problem and their reviws, I was satisfied that this wasn’t the case and decided to go ahead with a new door.
They quoted promptly, and were very helpful and patient in helping me choose the type and style of door. Because of Covid there was a delay in delivery by the supplier, but when the fitting appointment was made they arrived on time and finished the job in a morning. They carried out the work to a high standard and left the site clean and tidy. The new door fits perfectly, works well, and looks good.

On the day, they turned up on time, checked out the gates, confirmed the price, did the repair. The work was done very quickly. The door was cleaned afterwards. Further advice was given on maintenance. Invoice was emailed but a paper copy available if required. Would 100% recommend this Company and would use them again.

Superb Service. Called in the morning and attended that afternoon to fix one door and service the other.

The weather on the day of fitting was absolutely dreadful with heavy rain and thunder and lightning but Chris and his assistant turned up on time and fitted the door quickly. There was a small issue with the weather strip not sticking but given the conditions that was no surprise. After a quick call to Chris he came back within a couple of days to rectify the situation.
Overall a very satisfactory experience from East Anglia Garage Doors. Highly Recommended.

My garage door stopped opening! EA Garage Doors came to assess the problem promptly, a new opener was required – not a surprise as the old one was 34 years old!
Chris provided a competative price and on my agreement a new opener was installed (the old one taken down) and the door fully serviced.
This work was carried out quickly and tidely and to date all is going very well.

They took the time to to perform a site survey without out any sales pressure and explained the product thoroughly and kindly left me some brochures so I could take my time time to chose the doors I wanted, I decided to opt for the up and over doors with electric powered opening running gear.
